Travel through the impressive Ziz Valley, where a panoramic viewpoint reveals a vast ribbon of palm trees winding through the arid surroundings. Continue toward Midelt, situated between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains, where there will be time to stop for lunch before continuing through the cooler mountain scenery.
During the afternoon, travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping near the cedar forests where Barbary macaques are often seen.
